A study by Live Football Tickets has just placed it in the top 5 of the best European cities for stimulating sporting getaways during the UEFA Champions League, as spotted by So Foot.

To establish this ranking, Live Football Tickets experts analyzed the average temperature, hours of sunshine, average cost of an overnight stay during the playing months in sixteen participating cities, between November 26 and January 29. The objective is to identify the ideal destination for football fans this winter.
The small town of Guingamp, with its 7,000 inhabitants, ranks fourth with a score of 7.67/10. The low cost of the hotel, €93.64 per night on average, makes it the cheapest city for accommodation in all the data collected.
