Substitute against Dijon, then removed from the Paris SG group by coach Fabrice Abriel, Orléanaise Grace Geyoro spoke this Tuesday, November 26 on the sidelines of the gathering of the French team which will face Nigeria, in Angers.
Nothing is going well between Grace Geyoro and Fabrice Abriel. The Orléanaise reacted this Tuesday, November 26 to her sidelining by the Paris SG coach for the last D1 championship match, against Dijon. “I can do nothing against malice or injustice,” she declared.

Upon his arrival this summer, replacing Jocelyn Précheur, the new coach of Paris SG removed the captain's armband from the Orléanaise that she had worn for three seasons. The newspaper The Team had even revealed a major clash during preparation in Australia during the Perth International Football Cup from August 28 to September 1.
“I had a difficult time”
“The reasons, I don’t know them,” declared Grace Geyoro (27), replaced as captain by Paulina Dudek. “I had a difficult time with it and I can't say that it didn't impact me at the time, because I had been wearing this armband for several seasons with joy, pride and honor.”

But since then, the conflict between the two protagonists has escalated. Yet author of a good start to the season with three goals in the first five matches, Grace Geyoro, usual midfield relay, found herself attacking against Strasbourg (7th day), defending against Lyon (6th day), replacing against Reims (8th day) and finally, not selected in the PSG group for the reception in Dijon, this Saturday, November 23.
Fabrice Abriel: “it stays between us”
“It’s my decision, that’s why I’m a coach,” explained Fabrice Abriel at the microphone of Canal +, on the sidelines of the meeting. “I don't explain everything, all the time, in the media, it remains between us. There is no problem. We will support him to find a starting place.”
After this sidelining, Grace Geyoro, however, found a smile again this week by joining the gathering of the French team which will play two friendly matches against Nigeria (Saturday November 30 in Angers) and Spain, champion of the world title (Tuesday December 3 in Nice).

“I couldn't wait. It's a real breath of fresh air,” declared the Orléanaise, an 87-time international, to The Team. “Here, I can train properly, express myself, play matches and have fun. Laurent Bonadei (coach of the French women's team) counts heavily on me, so I give the maximum for him! This confidence, It’s nice.”
The Orléanaise did not avoid the tense relations with her coach. “I can’t control what people say, or what happens,” said the Orléanaise. “I can't do anything against meanness or injustice. Above all, I want to be me.”
