Memorial Tournament: Perez regains his ease

A moving day well done and there you go Victor Perez in the top 10 again! For his first Signature Eventa week after his podium at the Canadian Open, the Tarbais confirmed his current very good form this Saturday at Muirfied Village. At the house of Jack Nicklaushe delivered an almost perfect third round, including five birdies for a single bogey, and this thanks to compartments of the game that are all as efficient as each other: in the different categories of strokes gainedPerez was in fact 20th on faceoffs, 4th on green attacks, 8th around the greens and 17th in putting!

Having left much earlier in the day than the leaders, the only Frenchman still in the running in this Memorial Tournament was thus able to establish a reference mark in the clubhouse (-3 total), which was ultimately not beaten by more than six players. And if before him the imperturbable Scottie Scheffler point at -10, four shots ahead of his first runners-up, Perez will evolve this Sunday in a good position within a peloton of hunters eager for big points at the FedEx Cupor even better in the event of a misstep by the world No. 1… A case to follow from 7:05 p.m. this evening, for a final round that he will play alongside the American Sahith Theegala.
