Algeria – Following the announcement of his ouster from his coach’s plans, the attacker of the Morocco team, Hakim Ziyech, has already identified a new destination.

Hakim Ziyech’s future within Galatasaray is getting darker day by day. Arriving in Türkiye two years ago, the Moroccan international could consider leaving during the next winter transfer window, according to Turkish press sources. The management of the Istanbul club would seriously consider parting ways with him next January.

Several factors explain this decision. First of all, Ziyech failed to establish himself as an indisputable starter. His performances have not lived up to expectations, and his consistency is lacking. Additionally, his relationship with coach Okan Buruk deteriorated following an incident at the end of August. Substitute during a Europa League match against Young Boys, he expressed his discontent publicly, an act which greatly displeased his coach and led to his exclusion from the team.

To make matters worse, an injury sustained during a rally with the Morocco team kept Ziyech away from the field for more than a month. Since his return, he has not yet found his place within the team.

Despite a contract that runs until 2025, Ziyech’s days at Galatasaray seem numbered. Several Major League (MLS) clubs are said to be interested in his profile, while a transfer to Qatari club Al Arabi could also be on the cards. The Al Arabi coach has reportedly already made contact with the player, highlighting the appeal of a talent such as Ziyech in the market.
