This Thursday, near Interlagos, the Dutchman was at a press conference, on the eve of starting the competition weekend of the Brazilian Grand Prix, counting for the Formula 1 world championship. last, near Mexico, the three-time reigning world champion in the specialty received several penalties. Following this, criticism has been leveled against him in recent days. I'm a three-time world champion, I know what I'm doing. I have my opinions, but I don't need to share them.” Verstappen then returned to these various incidents from last weekend: “I think there is [des manœuvres] where we win, others where we lose. That's how it is in competition in general. I like to win, I don't like to lose. I don't think many people like losing. I just tried to maximize the result and, like I said, sometimes you lose, sometimes you win.”

Verstappen: “I live my life and I stay efficient”

Even if the Dutchman does not listen to criticism, he nevertheless trusts the people in his closest circle: “[J’écoute] people who are objective and close to me, not just there for discord. Some people are just really annoying, I know who they are, even though I don't really pay attention to them anyway. I think I have arrived at this point in my career, with the right people to support me and make my own decisions. They are good people, with good hearts, from the outside. The most important thing is that I know [qui elles sont]. Some people are just a little biased but I get it, I'm okay with that. It's not my problem in the end. I live my life and I stay efficient.”
