“Dear members of the national team, Cameroon and football have been one for years and the game has brought the country honor and recognition over the years. The national team represents the country in its joy and diversity and we players understand the responsibility and honor of wearing this jersey. This responsibility falls on you too. You must keep the team apolitical and maintain a healthy climate around us to allow us to perform without problems. We therefore implore you to overcome your differences, put ego aside and remember that we are all together here to put the Cameroonian people on the world map and make them proud to be a part of our country”
