The annual NHL draft will finally take place in just over 24 hours.

The Montreal Canadiens show up with, once again this year, the fifth overall pick and all the fans are excited to hear which prospect will be selected by the GM Kent Hughes and his team of recruiters.

Four teams, the San Jose Sharks (1)les Blackhawks de Chicago (2)Ducks d’Anaheim forest (3) and the Columbus Blue Jackets (4) all select before the CH and will have a direct impact on the choice of Montreal.

Grant McCaggformer professional recruiter for the Canadiens who became an analyst for the site Recruitsclaims to have spoken to several sources on site and has come forward with his prediction of the top six picks in tomorrow’s draft, according to information obtained.

It goes like this.

  • 1. SHARKS: “Macklin Celebrini, obviously.”
  • 2. BLACKHAWKS: “I’m told Levshunov’s choice is now confirmed.”
  • 3. DUCKS: “Everything I hear points to Silayev.”
  • 4. BLUE JACKETS: “The majority of scouts believe Lindstrom will be selected at this rank.”
  • 5. CANADIENS: “Everyone thinks it will be between Demidov and Buium.”
  • 6. UTAH HC: “Sennecke will come out 6th.”

Obviously this information should be considered rumors until the draft begins since many things can change at the last minute.

On the other hand, if we rely on this information, it would therefore be possible that the first four choices before the Canadian are Macklin Celebrini, Artyom Levshunov, Anton Silayev et Cayden Lindstromwhich would cause the explosive Russian attacker to slide Ivan Demidov up to CH in fifth place.

Needless to say, this would be a dream scenario for fans. Let’s see, if that’s the case, how much the team management likes Demidov.
