While Grégory Alldritt had recently complained about the lack of consideration for the safety of the players, the match of La Rochelle against Bordeaux-Bègles was again marked by disputed decision of the arbitrators. This time, there are two yellow cards clements which provoked strong reactions from the spectators.

At the 10e minute of the match, two incidents of play pushed referee Tual Trainini to call on the video in quick succession. Firstly, Bastien Vergnes-Taillefer cleared Judicaël Cancoriet.
Secondly, it was Judicaël Cancoriet who was guilty of unfair play with a high tackle on Connor Sa.
These two actions surprisingly only resulted in two yellow cards, with match officials considering the level of danger to be low each time. Not without a certain leniency.

At a time when the health and safety of players are absolute priorities and concerns in modern rugby, considering that the danger was low in these two actions may raise a few eyebrows. On social networks, incomprehension and anger dominate.
