The 17-year-old from Brussels, in any case, charmed the American public, skating to the music of “The Scarlet Maid” and “A Dream” by Eric Christian. “For my first competition of the season, I am quite satisfied. I reached a good level on my pirouettes. I know that my second jump was not clean, but I did not fall.”

For this new season, Nina and her entourage decided to tell a story, the first part of her long program being a story.

“The story is about a girl whose boat sank and died. She has one last chance to say goodbye to her friends and family. But, towards the end, she knows she has to leave “I’m trying to convey this story to the audience, but I think it will get even better as the season goes on.”
