The new day of the Botola Pro D1 inwi bears little resemblance to the previous ones. At the origin of this particularity are numerous changes made at the level of the technical management of the clubs.

Concretely, four teams have decided to part ways with their respective coaches and inject new blood with the arrival of new leaders.
Difaâ El Jadida was the second to have announced the recruitment of Zakaria Abboub after Raja Casablanca which secured the services of the Portuguese Ricardo Sá Pinto succeeding the Bosnian Rusmir Cviko. AS FAR, experiencing a significant loss of speed, has also decided to make technical changes by thanking the Pole Czeslaw Michniewicz. The choice fell on the Frenchman Hubert Velud who knows African football well having occupied the bench of several teams, including Hassania Agadir, Difaa El Jadida, TP Mazembe and Etoile Sportive du Sahel, among others. He was also coach of the national football teams of Togo, Sudan and Burkina Faso. AS FAR, which finished the 2023-2024 season of the Moroccan championship in 2nd place behind Raja Casablanca, currently occupies 4th position in the championship with 8 points in 5 days.

At the Berrechid Municipal Stadium, Raja, the only team to have had three consecutive victories, seeks to keep the pace against Soualem Youth.
On Saturday, the other representative of Casablanca, Wydad, will face Chabab Mohammedia at the El Arbi Zaouli stadium. Reading the results obtained by the visitors since the start of the competition, their chances remain very minimal. Wydad plans to take advantage of its opponent’s poor form to climb the general ranking.
