The new day of the Botola Pro D1 inwi bears little resemblance to the previous ones. At the origin of this particularity are numerous changes made at the level of the technical management of the clubs.

The coaches’ waltz began early this season in the national championship after the departure of no less than four technicians, after six days of competition.
Concretely, four teams have decided to part ways with their respective coaches and inject new blood with the arrival of new leaders.
Difaâ El Jadida was the second to have announced the recruitment of Zakaria Abboub after Raja Casablanca which secured the services of the Portuguese Ricardo Sá Pinto succeeding the Bosnian Rusmir Cviko. He replaces another Portuguese, Jorge Paixao, with whom “the contract was amicably terminated due to poor results and the deterioration of his relationship with several players,” said Abdellatif El Mouktarid, president of the club.
For his first outing, Abboub will travel to Fez in the hope of giving the Doukkalis some sort of constant after checkered results.
AS FAR, experiencing a significant loss of speed, has also decided to make technical changes by thanking the Pole Czeslaw Michniewicz. The choice fell on the Frenchman Hubert Velud who knows African football well having occupied the bench of several teams, including Hassania Agadir, Difaa El Jadida, TP Mazembe and Etoile Sportive du Sahel, among others. He was also coach of the national football teams of Togo, Sudan and Burkina Faso. AS FAR, which finished the 2023-2024 season of the Moroccan championship in 2nd place behind Raja Casablanca, currently occupies 4th position in the championship with 8 points in 5 days.
She will open the ball on Friday at home with FUS de Rabat in a derby which will decide between the two teams which have the same number of points.
The Moghreb Tetouan management office also announced on Tuesday that it had signed a contract with coach Aziz El Amri, to lead the team until the end of the current season, succeeding Croatian Dalibor Starcevic.
For three seasons, the Tetouan team, with which he won two Moroccan championships and signed a remarkable performance in the African Champions League. He also has to his credit a participation in the Club World Cup with the MAT.
He will be assisted in his duties by Mohamed Lakhal, with Rachid El Moussaoui as physical trainer and Mohamed El Hichou as goalkeeper coach.
At the end of the 5th day of Botola, the MAT achieved modest results, occupying fifteenth place with only 3 points. By hosting Hassania Agadir on Saturday, El Amri aims to revive his team and achieve the first victory of the season. Meanwhile, the other teams are busy and want to prove that they have indeed benefited from the international break. Stunned by its defeat against Raja, the Zemamra Renaissance intends to bounce back against another Renaissance, that of Berkane. This has only collected two points out of nine possible in the last three meetings.
At the Berrechid Municipal Stadium, Raja, the only team to have had three consecutive victories, seeks to keep the pace against Soualem Youth.
On Saturday, the other representative of Casablanca, Wydad, will face Chabab Mohammedia at the El Arbi Zaouli stadium. Reading the results obtained by the visitors since the start of the competition, their chances remain very minimal. Wydad plans to take advantage of its opponent’s poor form to climb the general ranking.
In the other matches, COD Meknes, invigorated by its first victory among the elite in more than a decade, will go to the Union de Touarga which surprises with its resilience. UTS, second in the standings, will not be ready to give up points and abandon its comfortable position.
Finally, the day will end with the fight between the Olympic of Safi and the leader Ittihad of Tangier.
