Echichens and Saint-Prex in the tough in the 2nd inter league | Sports results from the weekend
Neuchâtel University – Forward Morges 4-3
Bright winner of its opening match against Vallée de Joux last weekend, Forward Morges took to the ice at Université Neuchâtel late Saturday afternoon. Everything started rather well for the Bulldogs, who managed to score two goals and led until mid-match (Pasche 12′, Tireford 22′).
In the first third, the University team benefited from three penalties, including a passage of almost three minutes at 5 against 3, without ostensibly threatening the Morgian cage.
But the Eagles rebelled shortly after the half-hour mark of the match. In a few moments, they equalized… and even took a step ahead of the visitors! Three goals, one every two minutes approximately, enough to cut off the legs of the most courageous… Morges had not said his last word and the Pasche-Tireford duo (photo) stood out again to go for the 3 -3. But the locals crucified Forward with a success a few seconds from the third siren.
Next match: Saturday at Eaux-Minérales against Tramelan (8:30 p.m.).
