The talks focused on opportunities for the realization of major projects and infrastructure programs for the 2030 World Cup.

Ten days after this visit to Morocco, the special envoy of the former British Prime Minister for trade, the former Conservative MP Rob Butler, discussed the 2030 World Cup projects with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita.

The Labor government, in power in London since the early legislative elections on July 4, expressed last August its commitment to respecting the association agreement with Morocco, concluded in October 2019, integrating Western Sahara.
