We knew Jürgen Klopp as a coach, whether in Mainz (2001-2008) at the start of his career, then during his legendary stints at Borussia Dortmund (2008-2015) and Liverpool (2015-2024). We could soon discover the German technician in a completely new position: that of head of football for the Red Bull galaxy, according to Florian Plettenberg, journalist for Sky Sports.
From 1is January 2025, the 57-year-old will advise all the teams in the group, whether Leipzig in Germany, New York in the United States or Salzburg and Liefering in Austria. The former coach of Reds would have signed a “long-term contract” according to the German journalist, in order to provide his expertise. He was a priority of Oliver Mintzlaff, the managing director of Red Bull.
An option to leave your position in your contract
While he was announced as head of the National team for several months, but also on the side of the English selection, Jürgen Klopp had denied these rumors, even going so far as to refuse an offer from the American Federation. “I still want to work in football and help people with my experience and contacts. We’ll see if anything else comes up.”he declared this summer.

Always according to Sky Sportsan option would appear in his contract to leave his position within Red Bull if the opportunity arises to take the reins of Germany, replacing current coach Julian Nagelsmann.
