African handball will celebrate in Laâyoune (Morocco) for a double victory for the country. Quite a sign of recognition. The Southern Provinces are doubly represented. For two weeks, Laâyoune will become the capital of African handball (October 10 to 19).

The countdown is on. During the 45th African Championship of Men’s and Women’s Champion Clubs, Laâyoune will be the scene. It will take place for the 45th time from October 10 to 19, 2024. An event which will bring together the best teams on the continent. ASFA, the reigning Senegal champion, will represent Senegal during this competition.

Morocco will be represented by four teams, Raja Agadir, Mountada Derb Sultan and Wydad Smara (men) and US Nouasser (women). 16 teams are entered for the men and 11 teams for the women. Recall that Al Ahly of Egypt and Primeiro of Angola had won the title the previous year in Brazzaville, respectively among boys and girls.
