The earthworks on the large Hassan II stadium have reached 50% of completion, with completion scheduled for November 15. Construction work will begin immediately thereafter and will last four years, until the end of November 2028.

The Hassan II stadium, which will have a capacity of 115,000 spectators, will thus be the largest stadium in Africa and among the ten largest in the world. It will be built on an area of ​​100 hectares. In addition to the main stadium which will host matches of the 2030 World Cup, co-hosted by Morocco, Spain and Portugal, other training facilities will be created over approximately 69,000 m².

Among these facilities, a hotel of more than 15,000 m², two large shopping centers of 11,000 and 12,237 m², a conference and exhibition center of more than 36,000 m², a leisure area of ​​more than 14,000 m² , a stadium dedicated to athletics of more than 38,000 m², a gymnastics hall, a multi-purpose hall and an Olympic swimming pool of more than 43,000 m² will also be built.

The project includes four parking lots that can accommodate a total of 10,463 vehicles. At the same time, road infrastructure leading to the stadium will be strengthened and developed over 64 kilometers, with the widening of the highway and the construction of bridges to facilitate access to the stadium.
