Christian Luyindama is currently without a club. He therefore carefully evaluates all possibilities.
Present at Standard from 2017 to 2019, Christian Luyindama marked Sclessin with his muscular interventions and his joie de vivre in the locker room. But in Galatasaray, the one that Liège ended up nicknamed “the boss” was on a siding.
Ranked fourth in the hierarchy of central defenders, the 30-year-old Congolese preferred to find an amicable agreement with management to leave. He has therefore been free from any contract since December.
“I work with a fitness trainer to stay in shape and be ready as soon as I find a new employer. It’s the first time I’ve been without a contract but it doesn’t bother me. Many players experience a similar situation during their career” he declared to the newspaper L’Avenir.

He took the opportunity to send a message to the management of Standard : “If the managers contact me, I am open to discussion. I am in good shape and I know the championship. Standard is my home. I had good times there and if I have to come back to continue write my story, I will.”
His state of form, however, raises questions: Christian Luyindama has not played any official match since…November 2022.
