French striker Kylian Mbappé, injured in his left thigh last week in La Liga, is already back in the Real Madrid squad for the trip to Lille on the second day of the Champions League on Wednesday.
The captain of the French team, who was to miss at least three weeks of competition according to several Spanish media, appears in the official list communicated Monday on X by the Madrid club.
Mbappé, who missed the Madrid derby against Atlético on Sunday (1-1), has not trained with the group since his exit at the end of the match against Alavés (3-2) last Tuesday, injured in the biceps femoris of the left thigh.
The Madrid club confirmed to AFP on Monday that the No. 9 Merengue will travel to Lille with his teammates and that he will complete part of Tuesday’s collective training to find out if he is able to play.
