The Festival of books from above, the most large literary salon general practitioner organized in Lille, returns for a 4th edition October 5 and 6. Carried by the association The Booksellers above, a network of independent bookstores in the region, you will discover a whole bunch of events around the theme “Ensemble”. Moreover, this year, all of Saint-Sauveur is invaded by the festival. And it is, of course, always free.
You will be able to find signing sessions and discussions with authors of coursebut also participatory workshops, quizzes, round tables, stand-up… I’ll tell you all that here. ????
Find your future literary favorites at the Festival des livres d’en Haut
You will be able to participate in the highlight of the Festival of books from above this weekend and meet book professionals (publishing, bookstores, libraries, representatives, associations, etc.) but also those who write them.
In total, you will find more than 105 auteurs and authors but also the illustrators present at the event. And they really come from all over the world: Quebec, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Belgium… You can find all the names here. ????
This year again, there will be something for everyone: youth, French literature et foreign (poetry, police, human sciences, personal development, etc.), Comics, manga, graphic novels…
You can of course buy new books for sale and have them signed. But there will also be second hand and even a coin lecture on site.

But that’s not all: there are more 40 proposals for workshops, round tables, readings, conferences, quizzes, blind tests et stand up scheduled this weekend. There will be as many for adults as for biloute puppies. ????

The festival continues throughout the month of October
