The official composition of OM to challenge Atalanta Bergamo, this Thursday in the semi-final first leg of the Europa League (9 p.m.), has been released. Chancel Mbemba, absent during the last three meetings, is back, while Ismaila Sarr will experience his first start since March 17.
The time to write a new chapter in its glorious European history has arrived. This Thursday evening, OM welcomes Atalanta Bergamo in the first leg of the Europa League semi-final (9 p.m.) with the aim of putting themselves in the best possible position before the return match, in a week in Lombardy.

For this major European meeting, Jean-Louis Gasset and his staff have made their choice. In central defense, in the absence of Samuel Gigot, suspended, the trio Murillo-Mbemba-Balerdi is aligned. In trouble with his knee, Mbemba, who missed the last three meetings (Toulouse, Nice, Lens) is therefore well and truly able to hold his place.
In the left lane, Quentin Merlin, injured in the ankle during the quarter-final first leg against Benfica (April 11) and withdrew from the last four matches, returned to the group. But Luis Henrique is preferred in a piston role. Jonathan Clauss will be his counterpart in the right lane.
Sarr lined up alongside Aubameyang in attack
In front of a classic trio in midfield (Geoffrey Kondogbia, Amine Harit, Jordan Veretout), it was Ismaila Sarr who was chosen to accompany Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on the attacking front. The Senegalese, injured during the international break in March, is also part of the list of returnees. He regained his rhythm last Sunday by entering the last half hour against Lens in Ligue 1 (2-1 victory).
