It is only in a year that the young jewel of the Montreal Canadiens, Ivan Demidovis expected to make his NHL debut.
He, whose contract in the KHL will end after the current season, should technically carve out a place within the big club upon his arrival in North America.
In an interview with the former NHL defenseman turned analyst, Keith YandleDemidov agreed to answer which players he was most looking forward to facing when he finally wears the CH jersey on the Bell Center ice rink.
His response? Star attackers Nathan Mackinnon of the Colorado Avalanche as well as Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
These are both excellent choices.
As he will be 19 years old when he enters the NHL, it will certainly be very interesting to see how he can fare against these two super stars of the league.
He was not the only one eager to face Crosby while three other prospects, the forwards Macklin Celebrini of the San Jose Sharks and Cayden Lindstrom of the Columbus Blue Jackets, also named the legendary forward.
