Thanks everyone for following along.

FINISHED – South Africans win (18-12)

In a less lively match than last week, the South Africans proved more effective in winning for the second time in two matches against the All-Blacks.

18:54

The Springboks press! (18-12, 78th)

Rassie Esrasmus’ players continued their momentum and occupied the New Zealand 22-metre line. They chained together sequences before seeing Kolbe attempt a drop goal to try to kill the match. But the winger missed and gave the New Zealanders another chance.

18:49

Malcolm Marx scores South Africa’s second try! (18-12, 74th)

Instead of going for a penalty, the South Africans went into touch and were rewarded. Malcolm Marx was found at the end of the line to score the second try of the game. Mngomezulu missed the conversion and kept the All Blacks in the game.

18:46

Tyrel Lomax sent off for 10 minutes!

After cutting off Kolbe’s run, Lomax takes the rusk. He is the 4th player of the match to receive a yellow card. The All-Blacks will be fourteen against fifteen.

18:45

McKenzie’s new miss on the foot! (13-12, 73rd)

After a skillful start to the game, the New Zealand fly-half left the Springboks ahead after a nice miss.

18:41

Changes for New Zealand! (13-12, 69th)

Tuungafasi replace Williams.

18:40

Missed penalty for Mngomezulu! (13-12, 68th)

From the 40m line, in the centre, Mngomezulu missed a great opportunity to open up a new small gap. His penalty was even completely deflected to the left.

18:37

New penalty missed for McKenzie (13-12, 65th)

The New Zealand fly-half tries a new penalty from afar, but hits the post. Barrett is present at the fall for the Blacks and allows his team to build a nice sequence close to the line.

18:36

Yellow card for Willie Le Roux! (13-12, 62nd)

The South African full-back cuts off a New Zealand pass and commits a deliberate knock-on. He is sent to the bench for ten minutes.

18:33

Change for South Africa!

Hendrikse remplace Williams

18:32

McKenzie brings the New Zealanders back to within one point! (13-12, 60th)

Despite the missed opportunity, the referee returns to the advantage. McKenzie, from ten meters, puts the All-Blacks back to one point.

18:29

Hot alert for South Africa! (13-9, 58th)

Scott Robertson’s players play from left to right to go and score at the end of the line, but Reece is stopped and sent into touch.

18:26

Changes for South Africa!

Steenekamp replaces Nche, Smith replaces Kolisi

18:25

South Africa takes a four-point lead (13-9, 55th)

Offside by a New Zealand player, which gives the opportunity to the replacement fly-half Mngomezulu to score his first points. He had just replaced Pollard.

18:20

Conversion converted (10-9, 49th)

Pollard scores two more points to put South Africa ahead.

18:18

The first try scored by Kolisi! (8-9, 48th)

The first try of the match goes to South Africa! Kolisi is served by Grant Williams close to the line and resists the presence of Ioane to flatten on the line.

18:16

Etzebeth narrowly misses the try (3-9, 47th)

New sequence for the Springboks who create the most clear-cut try opportunity of the match with the big ones, in the centre. Etzebeth does not manage to flatten on the line, but just before. The video referee confirms it.

18:14

Changes for South Africa!

I have a Moodie replacement, Marx a Mbonambi replacement.

18:12

The Springboks are setting the pace! (3-9, 45th)

Unlike the first half, it was the South Africans who were the first to show danger. Willy Le Roux found a gap in the defence and looked for a final relay, but his pass found a New Zealand player.

18:10

McKenzie tries another penalty from afar (3-9, 43rd)

The first kick of the second half is taken by McKenzie, beyond the halfway line, but it lacks precision.

18:07

Here we go for the second half!

The Springboks and Pollard kick off the second half!

17:54

HALF TIME – All Blacks lead in dull match

Marked by inaccuracies, the match seems far from that of last week. McKenzie’s All-Blacks lead by six points against South Africa.

17:52

McKenzie puts the All Blacks back to six points (3-9, 32nd)

The New Zealand opener took advantage of a South African foul close to the line to score three new points.

17:49

Ioane has poor ball control! (3-6, 38th)

The All Blacks are passing for the first time in a few minutes, but Ioane loses the ball in the middle of the field, just as a difference was about to be made.

17:42

Pollard scores his first points (3-6, 32nd)

Penalty, this time for South Africa. New Zealand hooker Taylor does not release his tackled player and lets Pollard put the Springboks back to three points from the 40m in the center.

17:40

McKenzie widens the gap with his foot! (0-6, 29th)

After a foul by Kolisi in a ruck, another penalty for the All Blacks who take the lead thanks to the foot of Damian McKenzie, the New Zealand fly-half.

17:38

Return of a choppy game! (0-3, 26th)

After some interesting sequences on both sides, the inaccuracies have been accumulating for a few minutes, and this, far from the two in-goal areas.

17:33

South Africa is back to 15!

Wiese is back on the pitch. Two more minutes for Reece and the All Blacks

17:31

Moodie close to flattening! (0-3, 21st)

First big sequence for the South Africans who try a kick to follow in the in-goal area. Ratima fails to control it and lets Moodie try to flatten it, but the South African winger misses the mark.

17:27

Kolbe close to finding the breakthrough (0-3, 18th)

After a blocked touch close to the All Blacks’ 22-metre line, Kolisi struggles to control the ball under pressure from the New Zealanders, but he finally finds Kolbe in the middle. The supersonic winger avoids contact up to 5m from the line.

17:23

New Zealand also at 14!

Winger Reece unbalances Le Roux who was the first to receive a high ball. Deserved yellow card.

17:21

First points for New Zealand (0-3, 16th)

Logically, the New Zealanders lead the score after McKenzie’s converted penalty.

17:19

Yellow card for Wiese! (0-0, 14th)

As a New Zealander finds the spaces and approaches the line, Wiese blocks the relay. He is sent to the sidelines for ten minutes.

17:17

First situation for New Zealand (0-0, 11th)

Scott Robertson’s players find space on the left wing, but are caught a few metres before the line. The ball sails from left to right before being recovered by the South Africans.

17:14

Occupation game since the kick-off! (0-0, 9th)

Both teams are trying to gain ground on foot, but they are giving it up. No real testing situations yet.

17:10

The ball is in the Springboks’ camp! (0-0, 6th)

The All-Blacks are out for revenge and we can see it in these first few minutes. Scott Robertson’s players have been occupying the Boks’ camp since the start of the match, without managing to be dangerous.

17:07

The sky is blue over Cape Town

The locals play in green and yellow. The All-Blacks play (obviously) in black.

17:04

The New Zealanders kick off the match and recover a scrum on the Bocks 22-metre line.
