The ban order was published this Monday, January 20 by the Aveyron prefecture.
The party is over, at least for a little while. The Aveyron prefecture has just published a decree to prohibit “festive gatherings of a musical nature (teknival, rave or free party) not authorized”. This decision is in force in the department until March 31, 2025. A decision similar to that taken by the Hérault prefecture at the start of the year for all of 2025. A decision “well received” on the ground.
The last party for New Year's Day
The last ban order dates back to December 31, 2024. A party was then organized on the Larzac plateau, near La Couvertoirade. According to the gendarmes, mobilized on site during this gathering, apart from the party, the night had been “calm”.
-Driving ban
This latest decree also includes the ban on driving in the department. “with equipment for broadcasting amplified music to one of these gatherings”.
