In search of playing time, Enzo Le Fée could bounce back into the English second division.
After just one year at Stade Rennais, Enzo Le Fée flew to Italy, and more precisely to Rome. This transfer was supposed to allow the young French midfielder to take a step forward. After showing great things with his training club, FC Lorient, The Fairy was expected at a high level. However, his season in Rennes and now at AS Rome failed to convince.
With only 10 matches played in all competitions, Enzo Le Fée did not win in Italy. The transfer had already sparked discussions, especially since at Stade Rennais, the 24-year-old midfielder had failed to raise his level of play. In Serie A, Le Fée is struggling to be a starter and has not played since December 24. A departure is already being considered for the French midfielder, and one of his former coaches, Régis Le Bris, would like to relaunch his career. Selon Matteo MorettoSunderland would have inquired about the Frenchman. Le Bris is currently the team's coach in the Sky Bet Championship, the English second division.
A return to high level
From his debut with FC Lorient, Enzo Le Fée quickly stood out. The midfielder gradually took his place in the squad until he became an indispensable element. In the 2022/2023 season, Enzo Le Fée probably played his best football. Author of 5 goals and 6 assists in Ligue 1Le Fée was one of the best young people in the championship. Subsequently, his transfer to Rennes could have allowed him to confirm his level in a more ambitious club.
However, despite the enthusiasm generated by his transfer, Enzo Le Fée will only have delivered 5 assists in 35 matches in all competitions, without scoring a single goal. Today, after a season and a half in limbo, his former coach Régis Le Bris would like to put him back on the path to high level. As well as interest from Sunderland, Betis Sevilla have had contact with his entourage, but no official offer has been presented to Roma.
