With the arrival of Eirik Horneland, straight from Norway, ASSE has taken a clear step forward. The club no longer has any borders! Canadian investors, a Norwegian coach and targets for the transfer window who come from the four corners of the world. This is the case with a new sector explored by the recruitment unit. It comes from the Maghreb with two interesting tracks.
ASSE does not let go of Cherni
The first is in Tunisia. The national team recently opened its doors to a little nugget from Ligue 2: Amin Cherni. At 23, this left-back plays in Laval and has had a string of good seasons. For more than a year, Ligue 1 clubs have been interested in him. RC Lens, Rennes and ASSE have notably shown interest. At the end of his contract with Laval, Amin Cherni did not wish to extend and should therefore be free this summer…
Favorite for Farsi?
The other file is an Algerian international, who plays in the right lane. A piston named Mohamed Farsi, who is active in Major League Soccer, in Columbus. At 25, Farsi is part of the Fennecs and dreams of coming to Europe, where he has never played. Trained in Canada, the Montreal native experienced the Algerian championship before opening the doors to the United States. Since March 2024, Farsi has joined the national team and has seen his career take a new turn.
