The game is frankly balanced and a missed recovery from Mendes offers a dangerous opportunity (15th). In the process, Vanderson sends a very dangerous cross within 6m but Donnarumma relaxes well (16th). Monaco frankly hampers PSG at the restart but Hakimi comes out of it and the action starts, concluded by a good shot from Dembélé repelled in two stages by Köhn (21st).
Dembélé accelerates again full axis and plays the one-two with Mendes, which allows him to strike, on Köhn (23rd). In the process, Vitinha is served in front of the area but does not hit! The match is balanced and Lee provokes an eccentric free kick on the right side, it is played back towards Vitinha who hits without control just wide (30th)! At the break, PSG leads in points, but not in score.
The game restarts without changes but with a strike from Doué in the area which is blocked. Monaco is dangerous on two attacks but Mendes succeeds in two excellent central coverages in quick succession (48th). Monaco entered the second half well and pushed PSG back (51st). But Neves makes a magnificent pass for Dembélé who will challenge Köhn and loses his duel (52nd)!
The ASM sees Vanderson inserts himself into the axis then shifts Ben Seghir, he hits without control and Donnarumma can push back for a corner (53rd)! The counter is launched and Dembélé shifts Doué in the area who hits in a pivot, not deceiving the goalkeeper (54th). The game gets crazy and Vanderson finds the post at a tight angle (55th)! What an incredible start to the period!
PSG builds superbly on the left side with Dembélé and Doué, the latter crosses for Hakimi who takes over from close range but a Monegasque saves in front of the line (57th)! Marquinhos heads this corner but it doesn't hit the target (58th). The match goes from one goal to another from now on and Doué causes a corner which generates great panic in the area with a shot to the head of Kehrer (62nd). The corners are multiplying but Monaco remains solid despite the good presence of Marquinhos (65th).
PSG continues to push but Hakimi's low cross is captured then Dembélé causes another corner (66th). PSG continues to push, Monaco suffers and the corners multiply, without it being dangerous with a missed shot from Ruiz (72nd). Dembélé also tries the individual feat but his shot lacks tone (74th).
The Dembélé/Hakimi duo set off but Köhn made an exceptional save even though the Moroccan had overtaken him (75th)! Monaco is suffering but holds on despite everything (78th). On a restart error from Mendes, Minamino calls on Donanrumma who is solid (79th). Dembélé causes a good free kick on the right side but it is cleared, as is the second ball (83rd). The pre-match:
17h31 : The ball arrives on the central circle, it will start shortly.
17h29: The very modest attendance of the day
17h28 : Both teams are on the pitch.
17h24 : The stadium is very, very far from being full contrary to what was announced…
17h02 : Start of warm-up for PSG
17h : The real surprise on the PSG side obviously comes from the replacement status of Bradley Barcola. In theory, it is Doué who should play on the left, with Lee in the center and Dembélé on the right. Watch out for a possible surprise with Dembélé on the left, Lee on the right and Doué in the center.
16h57 : Very very offensive composition of Monaco with a double pivot Golovine/Zakaria behind a quartet composed of Ben Seghir, Minamino, Ilenikhena and Akliouche!
16h55 : On the group of 26 players of PSG left for Qatar, the 6 absent from the squad are Tenas, Kimpembe, Tape, Skriniar, Kolo Muani and Mbaye. Safonov, Zague, Hernandez, Beraldo, Ruiz, Mayulu, Asensio, Barcola and Gonçalo Ramos are also substitutes.
