Lille leaders are reportedly preparing the arrival of a new right-back from England.
Since October 16, 2024, LOSC has had a problem in defense. The Mastiffs lost due to injury Thiago Santos. The Brazilian, who ruptured the cruciate ligaments in his knee during training, will be absent for several months. If Lille has done without him until now by relying on the Belgian Thomas Meunier, the northern club has also activated an avenue to resolve this problem.
The search for a right back led the current 4th in Ligue 1 in England to the Premier League. In Bournemouth, the Lille leaders targeted a certain Maximilian Aarons known as Max Aarons. The right-back, courted by Manchester United, revealed himself last season by playing 20 matches (one assist) in the league.
The 25-year-old who was at the door of the English selection saw his playing time decrease this season. Max Aarons would therefore be looking for playing time and would be interested in the French club's project according to information from The Sun.
