Holder of a Master's degree in sports journalism, I fell in love with tennis since childhood and have always loved reading the great stories of this sport. Today, I want to tell them about them, take full advantage of my passion and be as close as possible to the aces of the circuit.
By arriving at PSG in the early 2010s, Qatar allowed the French club to take on a new dimension in the world of football. Since then, the Parisians have won almost everything in France and the objective for several years has been to finally succeed in winning the Champions League. Failed attempts have multiplied but the club's ambitions have not changed.
Author of several painful failures in Champions League in recent years, the PSG is clearly aiming for a victory which will inevitably come at some point. Semi-finalists last year, the Parisians will try to do better in this new formula of the European competition. Since the arrival of Qatar, the club has focused on the transfer window to validate big moves, like Neymar, Kylian Mbappé et Lionel Messi notably. Luis Enrique spoke about the chances of PSG in the future.
PSG has an attractive project
By doing everything possible for years to win the Champions Leaguethe PSG does not intend to shake up its regulars in the transfer window. “Can the PSG project evolve? I believe that the club's project does not change. We want to recruit high-level players in order to have a clear idea of the game. We want to play well and win. But the transfer window has its reality. We have to find the players who can come” explain Luis Enrique in a press conference before the match againstAS Monaco.
Luis Enrique makes a revelation
Based on his experience, Luis Enrique seems to be able to make this project a reality. Yet the PSG is off to a bad start this season since the club is currently 25th in Champions League before the last two matches. The Spanish coach knows that he will have to get his men back on the right path in the coming weeks. “I like the club's policy, we have a group with high-level players, recruited or trained. PSG will win the Champions League within 10 years, with me or someone else” he continues.
