Present at a press conference this Friday, after Quentin Merlin and before the reception of at the Vélodrome, Sunday evening (8:45 p.m.), the Italian spoke about his future, highlighting his joy at being the coach of Olympique from : “The holidays went well for me, I am happy in Marseille. I hope to stay here for years if they can support me, it's a pride to be here. I live this to the fullest while always trying to give the best. »

For the former Sassuolo coach, OM “is a unique club, a special place. I'm not saying that because I'm a manager here, I already said it with Brighton. I wanted to come here, like (Pierre-Emile) Hojbjerg, (Adrien) Rabiot, (Elye) Wahi… OM is a different club”.

Before naming your own ” challenge “ within OM: “My challenge is to do my best to help my players play better and better and put OM where it deserves to be. Afterwards, it's up to me to change the players, the systems, that's my challenge. I’m not in competition with other coaches, it’s not a problem for me, the other teams, yes.”

Committed to a three-season project, Roberto De Zerbi could even stay longer, depending on what we read in his speech.
