Portuguese PSG midfielder João Neves celebrated the New Year on the Champs-Élysées in the company of his girlfriend and several SL Benfica players, including Tomas Araujo, the central defender courted by PSG.
PSG players return to training this Thursday morning at the Poissy Campus from 10:30 a.m. And some players spent New Year's Eve in Paris. This is particularly the case of Portuguese midfielder João Neves, who celebrated the New Year like more than a million people on the Champs-Élysées.

The Parisian number 87 was accompanied by his girlfriend as well as four players from SL Benfica and their respective girlfriends. These four players from the Lisbon club are from left to right in the photo below Samuel Soares (goalkeeper), Antonio Silva (central defender), Tiago Gouveia (winger) and… Tomas Araujo (central defender).
PSG appreciates Tomas Araujo and tried to recruit him last summer, without success. While the Parisian club is looking for a right-handed central defender this winter, the Portuguese should not leave Lisbon in January since he has just extended his contract. If Paris does not find happiness in this position this winter, he could however return to the charge next summer.
