Impacted by the fires ravaging the area around Los Angeles these days, the major watchmaking event of the luxury group LVMH is withdrawing to new destinations.
A LVMH Watch Week between New York and Paris
While it was to be held for the first time in the City of Angels, the sixth edition of the LVMH Watch Week will ultimately have to change address.
Initially announced in the Bel Air district from January 21 to 24, the demonstration was forced to adapt due to the major fires currently raging in the region, particularly in the coastal area of Pacific Palisades, east of Malibu. . At the time of writing, these fires have officially caused the death of 25 people and forced more than 100,000 residents to evacuate the areas concerned.
In this context, according to information relayed by several specialized media such as Watch Pro and WWD, LVMH should relocate its event to the other side of the continent, to New York. According to these same sources, the event should take place on the dates initially planned while a second presentation could take place in Europe, at Parisat the end of the month.
-An edition marked by unique presentations
If the details of the event remain to be specified by the world number one in luxury, this new edition of the LVMH Watch Week should, as usual, present to the press and distributors the major innovations of the group's Houses in terms of watchmaking. Among the brands present, we should find Bvlgari, Daniel Roth, Gerald Genta, Hublot, Zenith and TAG Heuer, just back as official timekeeper of Formula 1.
This edition should also be distinguished by the presentation, for the first time, of new watchmaking products from Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co. or even the Swiss manufacture L'Épée 1839 acquired by LVMH in June 2024.
Launched in 2020 with the ambition of concentrating all the news in one place watchmakers of the group, the LVMH Watch Week had previously been organized in Dubai, Singapore and Miami.
