There will be two matches between Ligue 1 clubs during the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France, scheduled for the weekend of December 20, according to the draw carried out on Monday by international defender Griedge Mbock and Blues handball player Elohim Prandi.
On the one hand, Saint-Etienne will host Marseille, on the other, it will be the leader of the French championship who will travel to Lens.
Saint-Jean and Mutzig (R1) against L1 clubs
For the little ones, two of them will play against elite teams. the Bordelais of Union Saint-Jean, a Regional 1 club (6th division), will face Monaco, 3rd in Ligue 1, while the players of ASS Still Mutzig will face the Rémois. Mérignac will also have a lot to do against a team from Ligue 2, Laval, just like Tours against Lorient, while the Haut Lyonnais club, in National 3 (5th division), will host Toulouse (L1). Bordeaux, relegated to National 2, will host Rennes, 12th in Ligue 1.
Two overseas clubs are still in the race and will play their 32nd final in mainland France: Saint-Denis de la Réunion will face Cabourg (N3) and Saint-Joseph in Martinique will go to Corsica to challenge Bastia, a Ligue 2 club.
