For Le Mag, the journalist Laurent Brun spoke on the paw Bruno Irles. Does he see her today at the Girondins de Bordeaux?

“It’s starting to take hold. To apply the instructions, you must first be physically well, also well established in Bordeaux. The extra-sporting start is important. But there, yes, we still feel the Bruno Irles touch. In the first half, I thought the game was fluid and it was interesting. There were phases of play that we hadn't necessarily seen in Ligue 2 or Ligue 1 in the short game at the feet. There was actually very little technical waste, interesting sequences. They don't all succeed because they lack percussion, but I found that there were passing circuits. There was less doubling on the sides compared to other home matches, but the passing circuits were very interesting, where we didn't necessarily jump the lines. We could have swung in front on the tall size of Andy Carroll but no, he didn't try to play. So, it was sterile in the first half, but I liked this intention to play. In the end there was much less technical waste, movement, mobility, support for the ball carrier. I liked it.”
