Liverpool have received a transfer boost for Real Madrid star Aurelien Tchouameni.
The Premier League giants have been alerted that the France international could leave Madrid for a new challenge in January or next summer. Los Blancos are looking to overhaul their squad with new faces in 2025 and Tchouaméni is seen as potentially expendable in the Spanish capital.
This could suit Liverpool perfectly, with the Reds looking to bring in a new midfielder after missing out on Spanish star Martin Zubimendi in August.
Aurelien Tchouameni could leave
The latest update indicates that Liverpool will be bargaining hard in potential negotiations with an opening offer of £50 million ready to be presented to Real Madrid.
According to reports from Football365.com, Liverpool have been awarded the “
green light » to make an offer, with Tchouaméni rumored to be upset by the boos directed at him by Real Madrid fans this month.
Liverpool will not pay Real Madrid's £100m asking price but a compromise deal is an option for both clubs.
