The 2024 summer transfer window is over, but the rest is already being prepared and the rumors around Paris Saint-Germain continue. Today it is The Team which ensures that a transfer of Christopher Nkunku, 26-year-old attacking midfielder/forward from Chelsea (contract until 2029) trained in Paris, is possible even though he plays little in the Premier League among the Blues.
« the Blues have in fact already been surveyed by a handful of European clubs”
“For the moment, the person concerned has not initiated discussions with his club with a view to a possible movement, this winter or next summer. But the question will quickly arise. Given its situation and its stats (admittedly against minor opponents), the Blues have in fact already been surveyed by a handful of leading European clubs, including Manchester United, in bad shape and determined to strike in the transfer window.
Nkunku ticks a lot of boxes in the capital's new project: French, trained in Paris, with a collective mindset, versatile and still young. The sporting impasse in which the player finds himself could turn into an opportunity.
If he had to move, he would not favor a loan and would prefer to look forward to another challenge. Chelsea, for their part, could be open to a departure given their traffic jam at the front. »
Nkunku has only played 154 minutes in the league since the start of the season (for 1 goal), but shone in the Conference League and EFL Cup with 9 goals and 1 assist in 634 minutes. It was not against European leaders, of course. It's still interesting.
There is at least reason to want to do something other than being on the bench in the championship and clubs could be interested. His profile could interest PSG, with a certain versatility (midfielder, central striker and winger) and the ability to be decisive.
The return of Titi has already been mentioned several times and could please the supporters, as well as the player who left because he lacked playing time but never closed the door.
Be careful though, there is nothing concrete, many other possible outcomes exist in this file.
