After the Ligue 2 match between Paris FC and Rodez, which ended with a score of 3-3, a violent altercation broke out outside the Charléty stadium, in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. According to TF1/LCI, this fight involved Paris FC supporters, and caused four people to be injured by stab wounds, some of whom were stabbed. The injured were transported to various hospitals for treatment.
Several arrests by the police
Tensions reportedly began when a member of the “Legion X” group attacked ultras from the “Lutetia” group, which inflamed the situation. According to some sources, the presence of supporters banned from the stadium could have contributed to the worsening of the incidents. The police, who arrived quickly on the scene, made seven arrests. Of those arrested, three were taken into custody for questioning about the events. This altercation occurs in an important context for Paris FC, current leader of the Ligue 2 championship, while the club is currently negotiating a change of majority shareholder. The Arnault family, owner of LVMH, as well as the Red Bull group, are expected to regain control of the club.
