The ASSE reserve comes out of a failed match against Clermont (1-3). Razik Nedder's players are in difficulty at the start of the season in terms of results (13th/14). Indeed, last week's defeat forces Issiaka Toure's teammates to achieve a result today against Seyssinet. Return to this meeting played at 3 p.m.
The composition of the ASSE
Delacroix – Kinunga, Fall, Ndiaye, Makhloufi – Sahraoui, Kies, Cateland – Miladinovic, Aiki – Agesilas.
Came into play: Dieye, El Jamali, Lhery, Mouton J.
Perfect beginnings
Captain Jebryl Sahraoui's teammates only needed 51 seconds to open the scoring. On a good serve from Makhloufi in the depth, Ayman Aiki goes to the edge of offside, plays the defender and finishes with a beautiful shot! 1-0 for ASSE. A perfect start which necessarily reassures a group which finds itself in the bottom place after the results of the day before.
The match is rather balanced and tough with intense duels. Despite this, the Greens created the two best situations of the half. Twice through Aiki. A strike at the entrance to the surface first which forces the Seyssinet goalkeeper to push back his fists. The second on a nice opening, he goes one-on-one with the goalkeeper but loses his duel. The two teams return to the locker rooms with this score favorable to Razik Nedder's players.
Nothing to let go in a second
The second half offers a constant battle between the two teams. Seyssinet receives the amount twice. Kies is close to finding the fault but the goalkeeper diverts it for a corner. Dieye must obtain a penalty but the referee surprisingly calls a foul on the goalkeeper even though it is the Saint-Etienne striker who is in possession of the ball. At a suspenseful end to the match, ASSE won and left its place at the bottom!
For the next meeting, the Greens will travel to Espaly. A match which promises to be delicate as the Greens were in difficulty last season despite their 1-0 victory (goal from Antoine Gauthier).
