Aged 28, the Brazilian international (22 caps) has not fought in a single match this season. More generally, the player has not established himself since his arrival in Turin from Barça in 2020.
Last season, Arthur Melo played 48 matches with Fiorentina, where he was on loan. The native of Goiânia was pushed out during the winter transfer window, although his contract runs until 2026. Thiago Motta is clearly not counting on him. It remains to be seen if Roberto De Zerbi really considers the arrival of another midfielder, when he can already rely on Adrien Rabiot, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Geoffrey Kondogbia, or even Ismaël Koné.
