Patrick Olive, coach of Olympique Saumur FC in le-kiosque.org: “As usual, we will focus on this match. The Girondins have players in their ranks who have experienced Ligue 1. That’s not why we fear them. Individually, they have no flaws in any position. Then they have to find the mix with players who have little common preparation. It will take them a little time. It’s up to us to make the right match. We would have liked to have taken them a game earlier. They all know why they are in this club, to bring this one back up. I don’t think they are disturbed by extra-sporting events. What they still lack is cohesion. Of course, they have games in hand, but they will have to win these games. They’re going to be difficult to play, they’re equipped to do so.”
The match is played this Saturday at 6 p.m. It is broadcast by the TV7 channel. In addition, two Pool B matches are being played this Friday evening.
