Negotiations between the club and Balotelli’s representative are well advanced. On Monday, several telephone discussions took place, and a contract for the current season as well as an option for an additional season was offered to the attacker. If this agreement materializes, Intercity Alicante will have to part ways with a player to make room for Balotelli in the squad.
