Two (02) people were appointed to the same position yesterday Wednesday. In the press release from the Council of Ministers, we can read that: “Mr. Bécaye Diop, holder of an MBA in Management, is appointed Director General of the National Agency for Maritime Affairs (ANAM) at the Ministry of Fisheries and Infrastructure and ports, replacing Mr. Massamba Achille Edouard Guèye”.
Just afterwards, it was announced that “Mrs. Mbeugué Gaye, Biologist, is appointed Director General of the National Agency for Maritime Affairs “Anam” at the Ministry of Fisheries…”.
A few hours later, the government released a corrective statement. The note specifies that: “Bécaye DIOP, holder of an MBA in Management, is appointed Director General of the National Agency for Maritime Affairs (ANAM) at the Ministry of Fisheries, Maritime and Port Infrastructure, replacing Mr. Massamba Achille Edouard GUEYE”.
Concerning Ms. Mbeugué GAYE, informs the same source, she “is appointed Director of Inland Fisheries at the Ministry of Fisheries, Maritime and Port Infrastructure, as a replacement”.
