This Thursday at the Gilbert-Brutus stadium in , the Catalan Dragons returned to training. No question of the field, or of touching the ball. It was in the gym that the first tests were carried out and the first weight training session took place.

Forty-seven days after their victory over Hull FC (24-4), for the 27th and final day of the Super League, the Catalan Dragons began their physical preparation this Thursday. Remember that the Super League will resume its rights on the weekend of February 13 to 16, 2025, one week after the third round of the Challenge Cup which will be marked by the entry into the running of the twelve Super League clubs.

This Thursday, Steve McNamara surrounded by his two new assistants, Joel Tomkins and Ryan Shediran presented the program to the first group of eighteen players. All under the direction of Ryan Whitley who arrives from the Sydney Roosters and whose mission is to prepare the players for the marathon of the competition, helped by the two physical trainers, Mathias Pala and Tom Roberts who were already at the club in 2024.
