Madonna proves once again that she remains the ultimate fashion icon, marking New York Fashion Week with a memorable appearance. With her oversized shoulder pads and stacked glasses, the Queen of Pop caused a sensation at the Luar show.
Madonna has never been afraid to shake things up. At 66, she continues to surprise with her bold style choices, and this September 10 at New York Fashion Week, she lived up to her reputation. Guest of honor at the Luar show, the singer caused a sensation in a resolutely rock’n’roll look, worthy of a mix between old-school pop fashion and futuristic “Matrix” style aesthetics.
Madonna immediately turned heads as soon as she arrived at Rockefeller Plaza. Wearing a camel double-breasted coat dress, she imposed a silhouette structured by XXL shoulder pads and a cinched waist. The ensemble was enhanced by carefully chosen accessories: black leather thigh-high boots, fishnet tights and black latex gloves, reinforcing this “Matrix” look. The most striking detail? Two pairs of glasses stacked: an oversized black frame worn over a pair of white oval glasses, an eccentric choice of Madonna. To complete the look, the star opted for Luar’s famous Ana bag, with its oversized round handle, a piece that earned the brand the CFDA’s Accessory Designer of the Year award in 2022.
