Joe Jonas has recalled the “craziest” encounter he’s ever had with a fan.

During an interview on SiriusXM’s BPM show on Thursday, the Jonas Brothers star was asked if he had any interesting stories to tell about his fans.

The singer responded by saying that a fan had managed to hide in his hotel room.

“I mean, I think the craziest story, I just remembered this recently, we were in Chile many years ago. I walked into my hotel room, the curtain moved and I sat down on the couch,” he recalled, according to Just Jared. “It was a long day of traveling. I was like, ‘Um, maybe it’s the air conditioning.’ And then this fan came out from behind the curtain and ran towards me and I was like, ‘Uh,’ and called our security.”

Joe Jonas goes on to joke that his security guard, Robert “Big Rob” Feggans, wasn’t much help in the moment.

“And at the time, it was Big Rob, who is famous not only for his security but also for being in a song with us, and helped get it out and I guess somebody, his mom, worked at the hotel or something,” the 35-year-old star continued, adding, “Crazy stuff like that. But yeah, you know, there’s many, many stories like that. But I love my fans.”

Joe Jonas is currently promoting his new song Thick of It All, a collaboration with Alan Walker and Julia Michaels.

He is set to release his second solo album, Music for People Who Believe in Love, on October 18.
