The death toll from a tanker truck explosion on Saturday in central Nigeria, Africa’s most populous country, now stands at 98, emergency services said on Monday.
The new toll shows “98 dead” and “69 injured”, indicated Abdullahi Baba-Arah, the director general of the Niger State Relief Agency (NSEMA), after a previous toll of 86 dead provided Sunday.
