“We are here today to demand drinking water in our neighborhoods. It is frustrating to see that Darou Ridwane only has one tap. We are forced to get up at 5 a.m. to get water. precious liquid when the quantity is not even sufficient And to find water from this tap, you will have to follow a long queue. Sometimes, women quarrel to get water. “, lamented Adama Diaw, resident of Darou Ridwane.

Echoing the same sentiment, Ismaila Konaté, a resident of Ngadé, adds: “We are forced to fall back on the “saillanes” (small wells) with all the risks there. Moreover, we live here at the mercy of risks. of water-borne diseases because we do not have access to drinking water. The authorities have done nothing for us. These populations also denounce the growing insecurity due to the ambient darkness which reigns in their neighborhoods. “People no longer dare to go out at certain times at night because of the insecurity in Samba Moussa.
