Boulevard Afghanistan, one of the main arteries of the Hay Hassani district in Casablanca, is in the process of being redeveloped. With a budget of 5.8 billion dirhams, this ambitious project, integrated into the Municipal Development Plan (PAC), aims to widen this 1,500 meter long road to streamline traffic, create parking spaces and redevelop the surrounding streets to facilitate access to the Hay Hassani market.
Haj Tahiri Al Youssfi, president of the Hay Hassani district, reaffirms the importance of this development. “This project will help beautify the boulevard while facilitating mobility. We will also redevelop the streets leading to the market, a hotspot for residents.»
More broadly, this project includes the redevelopment of Boulevard Abderrahim Bouabid, another important artery of Hay Hassani.
According to the president of the district, the end of the project is planned in four months. But after only 20 days of work, the first signs of transformation are visible.
More than a simple urban project, the redevelopment of Boulevard Afghanistan aims to revitalize one of the most dynamic districts of Casablanca.
