A burglar slipped from a roof on Sunday morning in Kortrijk, seriously injuring himself, local police said. The man suffered several fractures and was rushed to hospital.
A witness alerted the police after spotting a man perched on the roof of a house on Heilige-Geeststraat, in Kortrijk.
The man suddenly slipped, falling several meters. The suspect”appears to be behind two burglary attempts, without however succeeding in carrying out his plan“, specified a police spokesperson, before adding that”He probably operated alone“.
An investigation has been opened.
