Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) won, on Saturday, the “Best Islamic Bank in the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries in 2024” award from the International Union of Arab Bankers (WUAB).
This distinction constitutes recognition of the important place acquired by the QIB in the field of banking services adapted to the requirements of Sharia, rewarding in particular the efforts made by the bank to stimulate innovation and offer cutting-edge banking solutions, underlines the Qatar News Agency (QNA).
This award also reaffirms the bank’s commitment to the development of Islamic financial services in Qatar and the rest of the world, with the aim of building a diversified economy with a focus on digital transformation, financial inclusion and sustainable development, notes the same source.
