It is with deep respect that I inform you of my decision to resign from my position as Executive Secretary of the Commission for Evaluation, Support and Coordination of Startups in Senegal (Senegal Connect Startup).
Above all, I would like to express my deep gratitude to His Excellency Mr. Macky SALL, former President of the Republic, for his confidence in entrusting me with this position which was for me an immense honor and an opportunity to contribute to the development of entrepreneurship and innovation in Senegal.
Following the lively controversy aroused by the publication of my past political positions, pushing Prime Minister Ousmane SONKO to engage in the difficult exercise of clarification and clarification, through a public declaration, I made the decision, in all conscience and responsibility, to withdraw from this function.
This decision essentially aims to put at ease the Authority which, in recent hours, has been installed in an unenviable position.
Excellency, I would like to express to you my pride in having been able, in a short time, to undertake major actions, within the framework of the operationalization of the law “STARTUP ACT”, which I had the honor of deploying with , among other things, the availability of the startup registration and labeling platform and its regulatory framework.
