The Saudi authorities announced that campaigns to monitor compliance with stay, work and border security regulations identified 19,541 violations in one week.
According to statistics relayed on Sunday by Saudi media, these campaigns, which took place between December 26, 2024 and January 1, 2025, made it possible to arrest 11,402 violators of stay standards, 4,775 of border security regulations and 3,364 violators of work rules.

According to the same source, 953 people attempted to illegally access Saudi soil, including 40% Yemenis, 58% Ethiopians and 2% other nationalities, adding that 129 people were arrested when they arrived. were preparing to leave the territory of the Kingdom illegally.
In addition, 27 people were arrested for their involvement in the transport, accommodation and employment of offenders, it is noted.
